Poiz jewellery

These rings are designed to break the stereotypes associated with men’s jewellery – heavy shapes and symbols reffering to native cultures, motorbike gangs stanism. Materialwise, I these rings are also meant to broad the range of materials used in men’s jewellery: from steel and leather back to gold and silver.

The delicacy of the shapes is proportional to the male hand. The design allows the “jewel” of the signet ring to be easily modified while maintaining the consistency of the series – as an example I presented two prototypes.

The prototype was casted from bronze, with the model printed with FFF 3D printing technology.

Signets

Plain signet

Ornament-free signet with round jewel. As the first ring in line, curves of it’s shape in 3D model can be easily changed to expand the series.

Waved signet

Plain signet’s shape mimics dewdrop, and just like wind distorts the still water, the shape of waved signet is a result of distorting the plain one.
